200 Faceshields Delivered to D.C.

Washington, D.C. –
Howard University Hospital is one of the nation’s top HBCUs and their hospital is serving under-resourced communities of color who have been hit especially hard in Washington, D.C. While black people are 46% of the city’s population and 46% of the city’s COVID-19 cases, they account for 74% of the city’s COVID deaths. We donated 200 face shields to help protect Howard’s #healthcareheroes.
